Request for Volunteers to Help The Swine Flu Response Plan

NHS Cambridgeshire are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help run Community Antiviral Collection Points situated across the County. The nearest one for Chippenham and Snailwell will be in Soham. 

Volunteers will be asked to meet and greet the ‘flu friend’ on arrival, register individuals and issue the antiviral drugs. All Centres will have an NHS employee to coordinate the running of the centre. They are looking for volunteers with the following qualities

  • be an effective communicator
  • have good people skills
  • able to work in a team
  • have a sensible outlook on things

All necessary training and support will be provided.
