Inspired by ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ to look into your family history? Been researching for a while and come up against a brick wall? Come along to the Cambridgeshire Family History Society Fair on 26 October at Girton Glebe Primary School (CB3 0PN) and get free advice from local family history experts.
As well as a free internet research room run by the Society’s volunteers, there will be talks throughout the day from expert speakers. Traders and exhibitors from neighbouring societies will also be on hand to offer specialist advice.
To coincide with the commemoration of the start of World War One, Cambridgeshire Family History Society will also be launching a project at the fair to help people find their family’s WW1 soldiers.
Admission to the fair is free, but attendance at talks is priced at £2 per person, per lecture. Free car parking will be available on site. The Citi 6 bus stops very close to the school and runs every 20 minutes from/to Cambridge city centre.
Tickets will be sold on the day or, to book in advance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
