The annual distribution of black refuse sacks will commence on Monday 25th August (Bank Holiday). Leaflets containing updated collection calendars will be delivered with the sacks. Clear sacks for residents on alternative recycling services will be delivered over the same period by Council staff, but not to the same schedule. More
To promote Compost Awareness Week from 5th to 11th May 2014 East Cambridgeshire District Council will be giving away soil improver made from the green waste put out by residents in their green lidded bins. Residents are invited to bring their own bags and collect some soil improver to help

The new wheelie recycling bins have been delivered. You should have two bins and a bundle of 52 black sacks. Black sacks are now issued yearly, 1 for each week. If anyone is missing bins, black sacks or leaflets they should contact East Cambs Customer Services on 01353 665555 or
Arrangements for recycling are changing, and East Cambridgeshire County Council is moving to a wheely bin service for recycling (black bag collections for refuse will continue). The can recycling container has been removed from the Village Hall car park, but you can still recycle cans there. Amey Cespa are now collecting cans in the same container as the plastic bottles, there should be new stickers on the side of the bank saying ‘Cans and Plastic Bottles’.
Easter, May & August Bank Holiday Waste Collections in East Cambridgeshire There will be NO changes to collection days. Waste & recycling collections will take place as normal on Easter, May & August Bank Holiday’s. Please put materials out for collection by 7am on your usual collection day, even if
